Upon hearing that Michael Bisping will not accept a fight with him for the upcoming UFC event in London, Vitor Belfort took to social media to voice his displeasure.

The two are both expected to retire following their next fight.

For Belfort, that was taken away from him this past weekend at UFC Fight Night 124 when Uriah Hall was forced out following complications while cutting weight.

Belfort issued this statement via Instagram towards Bisping:

“What a shame,” he wrote. “UFC just informed me that you have declined the fight. I understand you are scared. The images above pretty much explain it all.”

The former UFC champion was referring to his post, which shows what happened in the first meeting between the two:

What a shame @mikebisping !!! @ufc just informed me that you have declined the fight. I understand you are scared. The images above pretty much explain it all… So stop pretending that you are tough and just admit that you are afraid. And I thought you were man enough to step up in the octagon with me again, my mistake… unfortunately looks like we will not be delivering to the fans the fight they want to see… Happy retirement, you must be feeling amazing leaving the sport thru the back door… To be a legend is not to everyone! Que vergonha @mikebisping !!! O @ufc acabou de me dizer q vc recusou a luta. #teambelfort

The two meet back in 2013, with Belfort landing that head-kick that resulted in a second round TKO victory and a detached retina for Bisping. The former UFC middleweight champion has voiced his own displeasure with Belfort’s use of TRT during that fight.
