Condit has big plans for Oliveira

More from Fightline

Former interim UFC welterweight champion Carlos Condit returns to the Octagon this Saturday night, taking on Alex Oliveira at UFC on FOX 29 from Arizona.

Condit ended his year-plus retirement this past December, falling to Neil Magny via decision. “The Natural Born Killer” was scheduled to meet Matt Brown, but an injury forced Brown to the sidelines.

During his career, Condit has won the WEC title and holds wins over the likes of Thiago Alves, Martin Kampmann, Nick Diaz and current Bellator champion Rory MacDonald.

Adesanya ready to make his mark

Unbeaten Israel Adesanya will fight for the second time in the UFC this Saturday night, taking on Marvin Vettori.

Back in February, Adesanya made his debut, finishing Rob Wilkinson in the second round. The former kickboxer earned a “Performance of the Night” bonus for his efforts.

Through 12 pro fights, Adesanya has finished all 12 of his opponents, including four inside of the first round.

FightLine will have complete coverage of Saturday’s card, including a recap of the event and video highlights of the action.
