Ahead of her most important fight to date, Jessy-Rose Clark should be able to focus completely on Sunday’s UFC Fight Night 124 event and her opponent, Paige VanZant.

But the Australian can’t.

That’s because Clark’s house in Las Vegas was broken this week, leaving her asking questions and searching for several items that were taken. She also confirmed on social media that her cat was injured in the break-in and will have to be put down.

Rose added that a local Las Vegas news affiliate has picked up the story and the “police are launching a full investigation.” She stated that over “$30k+ worth of stuff stolen and beloved pet gone. Stuff doesn’t matter. I just want to see them punished for what they did to poor Dwight.”

Despite all the distractions, Rose is still set to face VanZant this Sunday from the Scottrade Center in St. Louis as part of the FOX Sports 1 main card. She made her debut last year, taking on – and defeating – Bec Rawlings on short notice to improve to 8-4 overall with one no-contest in her career.
