Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) returns to South America later tonight (Sat., Oct. 28, 2017) for UFC Fight Night 119 live on FOX Sports 1 from inside Ginasio do Ibirapuera in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The stacked main card, headlined by a middleweight scrap between knockout artist Derek Brunson and former UFC light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida, will feature an ultra-important welterweight showdown between Brazilian legend Demian Maia and brash contender Colby Covington, as well as a Fight of the Night candidate involving lightweights Francisco Trinaldo and Jim Miller.

But, before the premier bouts get underway on FS1 starting at 10 p.m. ET, UFC Fight Night 119’s “Prelims” action will go down on Fight Pass starting at 7 p.m. ET and FOX Sports 2 starting at 8 p.m. ET.

Christian Colombo vs. Marcelo Golm

The opening bout of the evening saw Danish heavyweight Colombo (8-3-1) attempt to capture his first UFC win when he took on undefeated Brazilian knockout artist Golm (6-0), who was making his debut. It didn’t take long for Golm to land a nice two-piece combo right down the pipe. The young Brazilian landed even more right hands along the cage which forced Colombo to cover up and turtle. Golm then switched levels, took the Denmark native down, and scored heavy ground-and-pound before sinking in the first-round rear-naked choke finish.
