For now, all the talk of UFC female featherweight champion Germaine de Randamie is just that, talk.

De Randamie’s manager confirmed with MMAjunkie that his client remains on the active UFC roster. She is, though, dealing with issues outside the Octagon that will likely keep her there for the foreseeable future.

“She’s got things going on at home and stuff going on at police academy,” Brian Butler-Au said. “The UFC’s aware of it, and we are working through it. That’s all I can say at the moment.

“Everything that you’re hearing right now is just rumor mill.”

De Randamie won the title with a victory over Holly Holm earlier this year. She works in the Netherlands as a police officer and has gone 7-3 overall in her career; including 4-1 with the UFC.
