To the surprise of no one, the UFC has hired Jimmy Smith following his exit from Bellator MMA.
Smith worked with Bellator for several years before the two decided to part following the completion of his contract.
Along with working pay-per-view and FOX Sports events as part of the broadcast team, Smith will also be used in pre-fight programming.
“I am honored to join the world’s premier combat sports brand in 2018,” he said. “It is a privilege to call fights for a living and I can’t wait to join the tremendous UFC broadcast team to call the best fights in the world. To the UFC fans, I am thrilled to join you for this wild ride. See you all very soon!”
