After going the distance with Holly Holm to close out 2017, Cris Cyborg kicked off her 2018 with a more “Cris Cyborg-like” showing at UFC 222 Saturday night.

The reigning UFC female featherweight champion finished Yana Kunitskaya in the first round, defending her title from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Cyborg (20-1) earned her 17th career finish in the fight, moving to 5-0 with the UFC. Kunitskaya fell to 10-4 with the loss in her Octagon debut.

The win moved Cyborg’s unbeaten streak to 21 consecutive fights, which trails only Khabib Nurmagomedov for longest in the UFC.
