Since signing with the UFC, Francis Ngannou has done nothing but pick off heavyweights one after another.
Saturday night at UFC 218, Ngannou earned his biggest victory to date, finishing Alistair Overeem in the co-main event. The 31-year-old from Cameroon landed a shot less than two minutes into their battle inside the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit.
Ngannou (11-1) pushed his UFC win streak to six consecutive, as he’s also finished Andrei Arlovski, Anthony Hamilton, Bojan Mihajlovic, Curtis Blaydes and Luis Henrique.
Following his performance, Ngannou made it known that he wants the next shot at UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic both inside the Octagon and backstage.
