Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) middleweight champion Michael Bisping was slapped with a lawsuit on Monday after allegedly choking a fellow gym member at 24 Hour Fitness in Anaheim, Calif., following a dispute over the use of equipment.

Read all the gory details here.

Not long after news broke of the suit, UFC President Dana White called the plaintiff, 19-year-old Antonio Georgakopoulos, a “fucking pussy” who was an “embarrassing clown” for daring to question the almighty Bisping.

See those comments here.

Those remarks may come back to haunt White, who is the latest addition to the Georgakopoulos lawsuit. That’s according to attorney Gavril T. Gabriel, who is also going after UFC and parent company WME | IMG.

MMA Fighting transcribes:

“Dana White called my client ‘an f-ing meathead,’ a typical ‘p-u-s-s’ and I won’t finish the rest of that, that he should shut his face in the first place, that he’s a clown and a tough guy,. I don’t think Dana White has ever met my client. If he did, he’d know those statements are completely false, and his sole purpose is to tarnish his image. Dana White will also be held accountable for his false statements for not only for allowing Bisping to engage in the conduct that is outlined in the complaint, but encouraging this kind of bullying behavior by Michael Bisping. Obviously a business, an organization starts from the top, you can see from Dana White all the way to Michael Bisping, they’re bullies, they can say whatever they want and do whatever they want and get away with it.”

UFC lawsuits are nothing new.

This is probably not the best timing for Bisping, who is gearing up to fight Georges St-Pierre in the main event of the UFC 217 pay-per-view (PPV), taking place this Saturday night (Nov. 4, 2017) inside Madison Square Garden in New York City.

For more on that pending showdown here.

Since the lawsuit was just filed on Monday, it’s going to be quite some time before it actually sees the inside of a courtroom, assuming White and Co. don’t settle this case out of court.

Time will tell.
