It a was a momentous return to the Octagon for Sarah Moras earlier tonight (Sat., Sept. 9, 2017) at UFC 215 from inside Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The former Ultimate Fighter standout hasn’t fought in over two years and took full advantage of her return when she submitted tough veteran Ashlee Evans-Smith in slick fashion. After Evans-Smith scored an early takedown in the fight, Moras quickly grabbed a hold of an arm and worked for the tap. Evans-Smith defended well for a bit, but once Moras transitioned to her back and started to crank it was over.

With this win, Moras jumps back into the mix at 135 pounds in dramatic fashion. At just 29 years of age, she has a bright future entering 2018 as long as she can stay healthy.
