Sage Northcutt will make his first appearance inside the Octagon in 2017 when he takes on Michel Quinones at the upcoming UFC Fight Night 120 event in Norfolk, Virginia, on Nov. 11, 2017, according to ESPN’s Brett Okamoto.

Northcutt was all set to take on Claudio Puelles at the UFC 214: “Cormier vs. Jones 2” pay-per-view (PPV) event on July 29, 2017 inside Honda Center in Anaheim, California, but the bout was scrapped after Northcutt suffered an injury.

The 21-year old striker will attempt to get his first win in a year against Michel, who lost his UFC debut bout against Jared Gordon earlier this year. Prior to that, Quinones had won eight of nine on the regional circuit.

As for “Super,” it’s been a rough stretch for the “Lookin’ for a Fight” alum, as he’s lost two of his last three outings inside the eight-walled cage. Now that he’s training under the watchful eye of Urijah Faber at Team Alpha Male (TAM), Northcutt will look to bounce back in an attempt to live up to some of the hype he came in with back in 2015.

UFC Fight Night 120 currently features a Lightweight scrap between former division champion Anthony Pettis taking on the the always-tough Dustin Poirier, as well as Raphael Assuncao battling Mathew Lopez. Also, Nate Marquardt and Cezar Ferreira will duke it out in Middleweight action.

Stay tuned for more UFC “Norfolk” fight card announcements in the coming weeks.
