With her “old” boss watching from nearby, former UFC champion Ronda Rousey put on a show that sole headlines at WrestleMania 34 Sunday night.
Rousey, making her in-ring debut for the WWE, submitted Stephanie McMahon in a featured bout on WWE Network from New Orleans. She was paired up with a fellow former Olympian in Kurt Angle to take on McMahon and Triple H.
“Wow…thank you Kurt Angle, the WWE universe and New Orleans for an unforgettable night,” she posted on Instagram.
Much like her UFC fights, Rousey was the talk of Twitter after her bout once more – for good reasons this time.
I never watch wrestling but maybe I’ll watch when @RondaRousey is on.. it looked so fun! She brought a different energy to it all.. was fun to see! Bravo Ronda!!! ???
