According to a report by Combate, Vitor Belfort will be part of the upcoming UFC 212 card in Brazil.
Belfort is expected to make his final Octagon appearance against Nate Marquardt on June 3 from Rio. The event features Jose Aldo and Max Holloway fighting to unify the UFC featherweight titles.
Since knocking out Dan Henderson in 2015, Belfort has dropped three in a row – all via finish. Marquardt is 2-2 over his last four, dropping a decision to Sam Alvey in January.
Anderson Silva is also still expected to remain on the card despite losing his planned opponent, Kelvin Gastelum, several weeks ago. “The Spider” remains without an opponent.
