According to a report by MMA Fighting, Nate Diaz and Clay Guida had a minor dust-up recently during a Combate Americas event in California.

Diaz was at the event to work the corner of his teammate, Chris Avila. During the night, Tyler Diamond, a training partner of Guida’s at Team Alpha Male, was talking with the UFC fighter when Diaz approached from behind.

Diamond posted on Twitter “I was talking face to face with Clay, he got pushed and I saw Nate and about ten other dudes so I stepped up with my arms out trying to descalate the situation and Nate then slapped me while one of his groupies rabbit punched me.”

Deputies responded inside the McClellan Conference Center in McClellan Park, California and took an incident report from Guida. The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department is handling the matter.

Guida, who is scheduled to take on Bobby Green next month at UFC 225, has been calling for a second meeting with Diaz. Back in 2009 at UFC 94, Guida scored a victory over Diaz, who has been out of action since a 2016 loss to Conor McGregor.
