Former Bellator champion Will Brooks picked up a win in his debut with the Professional Fighters League Thursday night, besting Luiz Firmino via decision.

The bout served as the main event for PFL 2 from the Chicago Theater in Chicago, airing live on NBC Sports Network.

Brooks had a tough run in the UFC after leaving Bellator as lightweight champion. He eventually left the promotion and signed with the PFL.

Brian Foster scored himself a third round finish over Ramsey Nijem, landing with a knee and following up on the ground with strikes.

Kayla Harrison, an Olympic medalist, made her MMA debut with a first round submission via armbar over Brittney Elkin. Efrain Escudero topped Jason High and Sean O’Connell earned a second round TKO over Ronny Markes.

Among the prelim winners were Brandon Halsey, Vinny Magalhaes and Robert Watley.
