Maybe it’s just Paul Heyman being Paul Heyman, but the WWE manager for Brock Lesnar recently told TMZ Sports that he believes Lesnar is “primed” for a return to the Octagon.

“I think Brock Lesnar does whatever Brock Lesnar wants to do,” he said. “If he wants to fight in UFC, he’ll fight in UFC. Brock Lesnar does what Brock Lesnar wants to do.”

Lesnar, the current Universal champion in pro wrestling, is a former UFC heavyweight champion. He made a return to the Octagon after several years away at UFC 200, besting Mark Hunt. The result, though, was overturned to a no-contest after Lesnar failed a drug test.

Heyman believes that the time spent away from the UFC only makes Lesnar that much more dangerous.

“They wear their bodies down,” Heyman said. “Brock Lesnar is probably the healthiest fighter if he decides to do that.”

Lesnar’s current WWE contract is set to expire after the upcoming March WrestleMania event.
