Who is ‘Baddest Man on the Planet?’

The promotional push for UFC 220 continues with another video release, this one entitled “Baddest Man on the Planet.”

Set for January 20 from the TD Garden in Boston, the card features Stipe Miocic defending his heavyweight title vs. Francis Ngannou in the main event.

The bout marks Miocic’s third title defense, as the Cleveland firefighter would set a new division record with a win. Ngannou is coming off a knockout of Alistair Overeem that vaulted him into the No. 1 contender role.

Also on the card will be Daniel Cormier, as he defends his light heavyweight crown vs. Volkan Oezdemir.

Benoit signs new UFC deal

Ryan Benoti has signed a new four-fight deal with the UFC, MMA Fighting is reporting.

Benoit, a 28-year-old, has split his last eight fights, going 4-4 including a recent knockout of Ashkan Mokhtarian. He has alternated wins and losses since first signing with the UFC in 2013.

He holds wins over Fredy Serrano and Sergio Pettis during his UFC run, along with six stoppage wins prior to entering the Octagon.

Sitting at 10-5 overall, Benoit is targeting a return to action in the first quarter of 2018.

Torres defends at Titan FC 48

Jose Torres, the reigning Titan FC flyweight and bantamweight champion, will defend his 125-pound title at Titan FC 48 this February, according to a report by MMA Fighting.

Torres (6-0) will headline the February 16 card from Fort Lauderdale, Florida vs. Alberto Orellano. The card will stream live on UFC Fight Pass.

Along with Torres-Orellano, Raush Manfio defends his lightweight belt vs. Lee Lilly and Rami Hamed will take on Jose Caceres for the vacant welterweight crown.
