Waterson-Casey do battle in desert

Former Invicta FC champion Michelle Waterson returns to action this April against Cortney Casey at UFC on FOX 29.

Set for April 14 from the Gila River Arena in Glendale just outside Phoenix, the card features lightweights Justin Gaethje and Dustin Poirier.

Waterson, nicknamed the “Karate Hottie,” is coming off back-to-back losses to current UFC strawweight champion Rose Namajunas and Tecia Torres. Casey dropped a decision to Felice Herrig in her most recent appearance.

Aljamain Sterling-Brett Johns in Atlantic City

Bantamweights Aljamain Sterling and Brett Johns have been added to the upcoming UFC Fight Night 128 card set for April inside the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City.

The event is still without a headline bout. It is the first time the Octagon has set up shop in Atlantic City since 2014 and the first time at Boardwalk Hall since 2005.

Bellator books McKee, Baby Slice

Both A.J. McKee and Kevin “Baby Slice” Ferguson Jr. will be in action this April when Bellator heads to Missouri for Bellator 197.

Featuring a main event between lightweight champion Brent Primus and former titleholder Michael Chandler, the card takes place April 13 from the Family Arena in St. Charles, with the main card airing on Paramount Network.

McKee will co-headline against Justin Lawrence in a featherweight contest, with Ferguson meeting Devon Brock at a catchweight.
