With all of the preparation out of the way for their boxing superfight tomorrow night (Sat., Aug. 26, 2017) live on Showtime pay-per-view (PPV) from inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, UFC champion Conor McGregor and undefeated boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. were left to officially step on the scales earlier tonight (full weigh ins replay).
During an intense staredown that revealed a somewhat sucked-in McGregor, “Notorious” took charge and started to verbally berate Mayweather like he was an ordinary opponent.
“You ain’t got shit on me,” McGregor said (video shown above courtesy of UFC). “You little short ass, weak ass bitch. I’m going to make you beg me to follow the rules. I’m going to make you beg me to follow the rules in there.”
“You look about 160 and all,” McGregor continued, “You look blown up. Let’s see what you can do, bitch”
With a tall task ahead, McGregor is in prime form. The 29-year-old Irishman has certainly got the best of Mayweather when it comes to trashtalking and mind games leading up to the superfight, but will he forge history and topple “Money” inside of the boxing ring tomorrow night?
Whether McGregor does or not, this has been one hell of a ride. Best not to miss it!
