Raufeon Stots started the weekend off with a big-time victory, besting Ryan Lilley in the main event of Legacy Fighting Alliance 48 Friday night.

The main card aired live on AXS TV, as Stots picked up a third round submission win. The entire card took place from the Viaero Center in Kearney, Nebraska, the birthplace of Resurrection Fighting Alliance.

Stots, a 29-year-old from Houston, is a member of the Roufusport camp out of Milwaukee. He has finished six of his 10 wins, with the lone defeat coming last year to UFC fighter Merab Dvalishvili at Ring of Combat.

This marked his first fight for LFA, though he did compete at Legacy Fighting Championship 43 back in 2015. RFA and LFA merged to create LFA.

Along with his win over Lilley, Stots has also defeated Jeff Curran, William Joplin and Robert Emerson. As a bantamweight, he is definitely a name to remember, as that divsiion can always use a fresh face.

In the co-main event, Brandon Royval earned a decision over Charles Johnson, sweeping the three scorecards.

Ryan MacDonald pushed his record to a 10-0 with a second round submission vs. Trevor Ward, while Calen Born remained unbeaten over six fights after topping Kassius Kayne.

Legacy Fighting Alliance 49 is set for next Friday night from The Golden Nugget in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The main event pits a battle of unbeaten fighters against one another, as Sean Brady meets Gilbert Urbina.
