The hottest ticket in town right now is understandably a ringside seat for Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor on Aug. 26. McGregor is the biggest star in mixed martial arts (MMA) today and will be making his professional boxing debut against undefeated pugilist and all-time great Floyd Mayweather Jr. It is expected to be the most watched combat sports event ever, surpassing the likes of Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao.
As you could have imagined, celebrities are lining out the door to get their hands on a “Money Fight” seat. Many fight fans have struggled to pay the massive price tag for tickets, but some of Hollywood’s most recognizable A-list celebrities have had no trouble landing a spot in the crowd.
Here is a partial list of actors, athletes, musicians, and other standout celebrities planning to attend Mayweather vs. McGregor, according to TMZ Sports:
LL Cool J
At least “El Jefe” won’t be attending after rumors swirled of his possible infiltration of the superfight.
The above list is sure to grow as we draw even closer to the biggest fight of all time. Even though many experts believe McGregor’s MMA striking skills won’t carry over into the boxing ring and disrupt Mayweather’s perfect 49-0 record, it’s going to be a can’t miss spectacle nonetheless.
Mayweather vs. McGregor will go down on Aug. 26 live on Showtime pay-per-view (PPV) from inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, with a main card start time of 9 p.m. ET.
