Jack Hermansson knows how to please the hometown crowd.
The hometown favorite went blow for blow against Alex Nicholson at UFC Fight Night 109: “Gustafsson vs. Teixeira,” earlier this morning (Sun., May 28, 2017) inside Ericsson Globe Arena in Stockholm, Sweden.
“The Joker” looked like a man possessed, as he landed an early takedown and proceeded to dominate his foe from top position with ruthless and relentlessness ground-and-pound.
After surviving a guillotine choke attempt, Hermansson managed to get the position he wanted in side control. After landed a few elbows, Hermansson took his foes back and teed off with one strike after another on Alex, who had no other choice but to cover up and protect himself.
Once the official on duty called the fight, a stunned Nicholson protested the stoppage, though it was sheer adrenaline talking, as the bout was clearly over and the referee’s decision to put an end to the damage was spot on.
