Lightweight veteran Clay Guida turned back the clock earlier tonight (Sat., Nov. 11, 2017) at UFC Fight Night 120 live on FOX Sports 1 from inside the Ted Constant Convocation Center in Norfolk, Virginia, when he captured his first Octagon finish since 2011 with a TKO victory over fellow divisional staple Joe Lauzon.
It was really all Guida from the early going. He hurt Lauzon bad with a hard right hand behind the ear, and then followed his efforts up by sneaking in a devastating uppercut down the pipe. From there, “The Carpenter” peppered Lauzon with ferocious ground-and-pound fueled by elbows and hammer fists. The referee finally jumped in and peeled Guida off of a bloodied “J-Lau.”

With this performance, Guida locks down his second-straight victory and gives UFC a good reason to renew his expired contract. Even at the age of 35, Guida is still showing improvements since his move to Team Alpha Male.
