The California Athletic Commission announced on Wednesday that Jon Jones-Daniel Cormier from UFC 214 will now be a no-contest.

Jones’ recent “B” sample drug test was found to also have a banned substance, the same as his “A” sample. Jones had won the light heavyweight title back in July via finish.

It remains unknown what the UFC’s plans for the belt are, as they could return it to Daniel Cormier or place it vacant and have a pair of top contenders meet to crown a new champion.

This marks the second time Jones has been stripped of the title.
