Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) recently booked a fan friendly showdown for the upcoming UFC Fight Night 120 mixed martial arts (MMA) event on FOX Sports 1, scheduled for Sat., Nov. 11, 2017 inside Ted Constant Convocation Center in Norfolk, Virginia.

Joe Lauzon vs. Clay Guida.

Lauzon (27-13) is coming off a majority decision loss to Steven Ray at UFC Fight Night 108 back in April. “J-Lau” has been consistently inconsistent, alternating wins and losses for the past three years for a record of 4-4 during that span.

Not that you’ve ever heard of anyone complain about a boring Lauzon fight.

Guida (33-17), who’s been fighting for UFC for well over a decade, has also struggled to maintain any sort of forward trajectory, racking up a 6-6 record since late 2011. “The Carpenter,” however, was able to turn away Erik Koch at UFC Fight Night 112 last June.

Lauzon and Guida share a staggering 24 post-fight bonuses between them.

UFC Fight Night 120 will be headlined by the lightweight showdown pitting Anthony Pettis against Dustin Poirier. Elsewhere on the card, Matt Brown and Diego Sanchez hook ‘em up for welterweight bragging rights.
