Mara Romero Borella earned a split decision over Milana Dudieva in the main event of Invicta FC 24 Saturday night.
The card took place from the Scottish Rite Temple in Kansas City and streamed live on UFC Fight Pass.
Borella and Dudieva were elevated to the headline role after UFC officials twice plucked a main event fighter from the card. Megan Anderson was to defend her featherweight title, but she was signed by the UFC to face Cris Cyborg at UFC 214.
After Anderson bowed out of that fight with an injury, the UFC signed Tonya Evinger – her Invicta FC 24 replacement – to face Cyborg.
