It all goes down later tonight (Sat., May 13, 2017) at UFC 211 live on pay-per-view (PPV) from inside American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, as Stipe Miocic puts his UFC heavyweight title on the line for a second-straight time when he meets former divisional champion Junior dos Santos. The heavyweight main event is a rematch from a 2014 meeting that saw JDS escape with a five-round unanimous decision win.
In preparation for Miocic vs. Dos Santos 2 tonight at UFC 211, EA Sports has dropped yet another entertaining simulation (shown above). Unlike their first real-life encounter, the simulated rematch ends abruptly. After two rounds of back-and-forth action, which featured a knockdown by JDS and heavy knees early, Miocic catches the Brazilian in Round 3 with a nasty uppercut that drops him. From there, Miocic follows up with a few extra strikes on a turtled dos Santos before walking away with the TKO win and his record-tying second consecutive heavyweight title defense.
Now it’s time to sit back and see if EA Sports is on to something and Miocic is able to avenge his loss to “Cigano” over two years ago.
