Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor weren’t the only guys making money off their big boxing superfight in Las Vegas over the weekend. Sportsbooks made a killing off the legions of McGregor fans, who flooded the market with so much cash the line on the Irish UFC champion went from being +1100 to +300.

Floyd Mayweather got a much lower volume of betting, but there were a number of massive bets that came in on him leading up to the fight.

There’s the billionaire Maloof brothers, who bet $880,000 on Mayweather to win. We don’t know if he actually managed to do so, but Floyd tried to put down several hundred thousand dollars on himself. And then there’s this newly revealed wager of $1.21 million on Floyd, the largest bet on the boxing legend we know about. At -500 odds, that money netted the as of now unidentified bettor a cool $242,000.

Sounds like a pretty good night: go to Hooters, eat some wings, gamble over a million bucks and walk away with a quarter million in profit. It certainly beats my evening where I bet $100 on UFC Fight Pass letting me view the fight and lost.
