A rematch between former UFC champion Frankie Edgar and Cub Swanson is being worked on for UFC Fight Night 127.

Set for April 21 from the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey, the card features Kevin Lee vs. Edson Barboza.

Edgar (22-6-1) suffered his first career knockout loss earlier this month when he was finished by Brian Ortega. “The Answer” had scored back-to-back wins over Yair Rodriguez and Jeremy Stephens prior to the defeat.

Swanson (25-8) had his four-fight win streak snapped by Ortega in December when he suffered a second round submission defeat. Despite the loss, the UFC and Swanson worked out a new contract.

The two first met back in 2014 in the main event, with Edgar locking up a neck-crank in the fifth round to score the win. That victory was part of a five-fight win streak that led to him facing Jose Aldo for the interim featherweight title in 2016.

The bout was first reported by ESPN.
