Former UFC champion Johny Hendricks is no longer with the promotion.

Hendricks told Luke Thomas on Friday that he is working with his manager to figure out his next career step, but that “he is not retired.”

Hendricks told Thomas he is still training and “A May card wouldn’t be bad for me.” The former welterweight champion disclosed that he is walking around at 209 pounds, meaning he could fight anywhere from middleweight to light heavyweight.

The 34-year-old Hendricks is 18-8 overall, but is just 1-5 over his last six bouts. He defeated Hector Lombard in 2017 before falling via second round TKO to both Tim Boetsch and Paulo Costa.
