John Moraga isn’t impressed with UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson. The No. 1 contender titled Johnson as boring since he doesn’t finish fights.

“I think he’s boring,” said Moraga during a UFC Q&A. “He just bounces around. He runs around too much. He doesn’t fight. He doesn’t put on exciting fights. He’s got a lot of technique and a lot of skill, but he doesn’t finish people.”

Johnson entered the UFC as bantamweight and took a championship loss in his second appearance for the promotion. When the flyweight division was created last year, Johnson won a four person tournament to be the inaugural champion.

Moraga is 13-1, winning his last seven. Out of the UFC he’s stopped Ulysses Gomez and Chris Cariaso, earning Submission of the Night in December 2012.

They were supposed to headline The Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale before Johnson pulled out with a shoulder injury. Now, they close UFC on FOX 8 on July 27. It comes from the KeyArena in Seattle, WA.
