Anderson “The Spider” Silva is the current UFC middleweight champions and, without question, one of the most dangerous fighters in all of MMA. Many consider him to be the best pound for pound fighter in the world.

Silva possesses world class striking ability and combines that with a black belt in BJJ. He quickly rose through the ranks of the UFC, after coming over from the now defunct PRIDE promotion in June of 2006, to dominate Rick Franklin at UFC 64 and earn the UFC middleweight championship, which he still holds. He has also fought in the UFC’s light heavyweight division, where he defeated James ‘Sandman’ Irvin and Forrest Griffin.

Silva also holds several records in the UFC. He holds the longest active winning streak in the UFC with 13 consecutive wins, and holds the record for the longest winning streak in UFC history.
