The event is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. from the Muscle Pharm HQ in Burbank, California.

Two champions could meet, as defending featherweight champion Eddie Cummings and bantamweight champion Geo Martinez are both set to be in action. The two met back in the EBI 10 final, with Martinez dealing Cummings his lone EBI loss to date.

Martinez was the first-ever winner of the EBI, claiming the featherweight title back in 2014 with a win over Jeff Glover. Cummings captured his first EBI crown in 2015 when he bested former Bellator champion and UFC title contender Joe Soto.

Martinez has three EBI crowns and Cummings two. Garry Tonon claimed his fifth EBI title this past October and Gordon Ryan has four.

The invitationals are 16-man tournaments featuring submission-only (non-striking) grappling. Combat Jiu Jitsu will also be featured, which does allow palm strikes.
