Dennis Bermudez has heard the scores read after his last three fights as split decisions.
And all three times, it has been Bermudez on the wrong end of the win.
The veteran fighter suffered his latest loss to Rick Glenn at UFC Fight Night 133 this past weekend, leaving him questioning his future going forward. Bermudez is now 16-9 overall and 9-7 over 16 Octagon appearances.
“It’s a tough pill to swallow,” Bermudez told MMAjunkie. “I’ve got kids, I’ve got a house. Financially, it sucks. I have to pay my coaches, my manager. I’m paying for my week out here, the flights. It doesn’t pay to lose. It doesn’t.
“I don’t know (about the future). We’re going to let it sink and I’ll get back to you.”
Along with the loss to Glenn, he has also been bested by Andre Fili and Darren Elkin.
