Recent UFC welterweight title contender Demian Maia will try to fend off rising challenger Colby Covington at UFC Fight Night 119.

Set for October 28, the event takes place from Sao Paulo, Brazil with Lyoto Machida taking on Derek Brunson in the main event.

Maia (25-7) had his seven-fight win streak snapped by Tyron Woodley last month, dropping a decision for the belt. The Brazilian also previously challenged Anderson Silva for the middleweight title.

Covington (12-1) now gets his shot at Maia on the heels of four consecutive wins. The American Top Team fighter is 7-1 overall inside the Octagon.
