After Cody Garbrandt was forced to withdraw from his much-anticipated Bantamweight title fight against T.J. Dillashaw, which was set to co-headline UFC 213 in Las Vegas, Nevada, on July 9, 2017, company president Dana White revealed that he was interested in booking the former 135-pound kingpin against Flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson later this year.

Unfortunately, “Mighty Mouse” isn’t interesting in promoting the potential match up … at all.

That prompted Dillashaw to hold an online poll to see who mixed mixed martial arts (MMA) fans would rather see fight Johnson: Himself or No. 3-ranked division contender Ray Borg:

Borg soon jumped on his social media account to respond:

Borg was compelled to elaborate:

There was a time when Johnson was interested in a “super fight” against Dillashaw when “Viper” was holding the 135-pound strap. But, since the big-money offer never came — and T.J. went on to cough up his title — “Mighty Mouse” doesn’t see much point in fighting at the moment.

Borg, however, has won two straight bouts at 125 pounds, setting himself up nicely as the next title contender. That’s because the other two men ranked above him — Joseph Benavidez and Henry Cejudo — have already had their shot at Johnson and were defeated handily.

What say you, Maniacs, who do you feel should get next crack at Johnson?
