UFC president Dana White will have his name attached to another fight series, as the promotion announced plans for “Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series” beginning this July 11.

The series airs on UFC Fight Pass weekly and will feature five live fights each episode. Rising prospects and veterans will compete, with all looking to make their way back into the UFC.

“This sport continues to get bigger all over the world, and the more fights we can put on, the more talent we can find, the better the events will be for the fans,” White said about the venture. “I love looking for up-and-coming talent. This show’s going to give us another opportunity to bring in young fighters who we think have potential to make it in the UFC or maybe even one day become world champions.”

The fights will take place from Las Vegas and The Ultimate Fighter gym, with the Nevada Athletic Commission serving as regulators. Bouts will count towards the win-loss record of fighters, unlike on The Ultimate Fighter.
