UFC president Dana White held court on “UFC Tonight” Wednesday ahead of Saturday’s UFC 223 event.
And as usual, White had a comment for every question.
Among the most interesting ones were his stead-fast opinion that both now-former UFC lightweight and featherweight champion Conor McGregor and ex-heavyweight titleholder Brock Lesnar will both compete in 2018 inside the Octagon.
McGregor was stripped of his lightweight belt ahead of Saturday’s card which will see Khabib Nurmagomedov take on Max Holloway. Lesnar, meanwhile, is set to complete his current WWE contract this weekend after WrestleMania 34.
“Brock’s coming back,” White said. “I don’t know when, but he is.”
Lesnar fought at UFC 200 in 2016, but his win vs. Mark Hunt was changed to a no-contest. He faces a suspension if he does return from the USADA and Nevada Athletic Commission.
