Cris Cyborg has stepped in and will defend her female featherweight title vs. Yana Kunitskaya in the new main event for UFC 222.

Set for March 3 from Las Vegas and the T-Mobile Arena, the bout replaces Max Holloway vs. Frankie Edgar for the featherweight belt, which fell apart when Holloway suffered an injury.

Cyborg (18-1) has scored three wins since signing with the UFC from Invicta FC, including a victory in December over Holly Holm. Kunitskaya (10-3) will be making her debut with the promotion after capturing Invicta FC gold.

Edgar (22-5-1) remains on the card, as he’ll face fellow top contender Brian Ortega (13-0) in the new co-main event.
