With a simple post on Instagram Tuesday, Conor McGregor proved he is still one of the top stars in the UFC despite not competing inside the Octagon in almost two years.
McGregor released a video showing some training footage for his return next month at UFC 229 vs. Khabib Numagomedov for the lightweight title.
“Notorious” never defended his 155-pound belt, as he was stripped of it for his role in a melee in Brooklyn earlier this year. He also never defended his featherweight title either.
At the time of his posting, the video has been viewed over two million times.
