The rematch between Bellator lightweight champion Brent Primus and top contender Michael Chandler is now official.

The two will meet at Bellator 196 on April 13 from The Family Arena in St. Charles, Missouri. The main card airs live on Paramount Network.

Last year, Primus (8-0) won the title with a stoppage victory over Chandler. Since turning pro in 2010, he has never lost, scoring wins over the likes of Chandler, Gleristone Santos and Derek Anderson.

Primus has competed six times inside the Bellator cage, earning four finishes and two more decision wins.

Chandler (17-4) rebounded from the loss to Primus by dominating Goiti Yamauchi at Bellator 192 last month. The win was his fifth in his last six, with the lone loss coming to the current champion when he suffered a leg injury at Bellator NYC last Jun.

A former two-time champion, Chandler owns wins over Benson Henderson, Patricky Freire and Eddie Alvarez.

An exclusive online presale for this event takes place Thursday at 10 a.m. CT, with tickets going on-sale to the general public on Friday at 10 a.m. CT. Tickets will be available at the Carol House Furniture box office located at The Family Arena, as well as or by calling MetroTix at 314-534-1111.
