Ryan Bader flexed his muscle in his heavyweight debut Saturday night at Bellator 199, knocking Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal out in just 15 seconds.

Bader scored a thunderous finish inside the SAP Center in San Jose, advancing to the semifinals of the Bellator Heavyweight Grand Prix. The main card aired live on Paramount Network.

For the Bellator light heavyweight champion, it moves him into a final four round contest with Matt Mitrione later this year. The other side of the bracket pits Fedor Emelianenko vs. Chael Sonnen, with the winner to become the new Bellator heavyweight champion.

Bader has won 10 of his last 11, including finishes in four of his five most recent bouts. The former Ultimate Fighter winner claimed the Bellator 205-pound title with a victory over Phil Davis.
