Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight titleholder Anthony Pettis will collide with top contender Dustin Poirier at the upcoming UFC Fight Night 120 mixed martial arts (MMA) event on FOX Sports 1, set for Sat., Nov. 11, 2017 inside Ted Constant Convocation Center in Norfolk, Virginia.

Pettis (20-6) recently returned to the win column — as well as the 155-pound weight class — after getting knocked around in the featherweight division. “Showtime” was last seen outpointing the rough-and-tumble Jim Miller at UFC 213 back in July.

Poirier (21-5, 1 NC), meanwhile, was hoping to run it back with Eddie Alvarez after their no contest at UFC 211; however, “The Diamond” was passed over in favor of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) and like Pettis, will enter this bout with a win over Jim Miller.

Early predictions on their headlining affair?

UFC Fight Night 120 will also feature the light heavyweight showdown pitting Karl Roberson against Darren Stewart while Cezar Ferreira and Nate Marquardt hook ‘em up in middleweight action.

Stay tuned for more UFC “Norfolk” fight card announcements in the coming weeks.
