Former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva released a statement via Twitter, his first public comments since being removed from a planned fight with Kelvin Gastelum later this month.
Silva was flagged by USADA for a potential anti-doping violation, which would be his second failed drug test of his career.
“The Spider” was replaced by Michael Bisping for the event, which takes place in Shanghai, China.
