Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) bantamweight champion, Cody Garbrandt, should omit racial connotations from his Twitter trash talk, lest he get his shit beat in for being an asshat.

That’s according to 135-pound contender Aljamain Sterling.

“Funkmaster” took offense to “No Love’s” use of the word “boy” on two separate occasions as they jawed back and forth on social media. Not sure what Garbrandt’s intent was, but maybe he just wanted some of those Conor McGregor headlines.

Garbrandt (11-0) recently recovered from a debilitating back injury and will make his first title defense against former champion TJ Dillashaw at the upcoming UFC 217 pay-per-view (PPV) event, scheduled for Nov. 4, 2017 inside Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Sterling (14-2), meanwhile, is coming off back-to-back wins over Augusto Mendes and Renan Barao, good enough for No. 7 in the official rankings (see them here). His next opponent, as well as a return date, have yet to be established.

Anyone think these two will eventually collide?
