Heavyweights Alistair Overeem and Curtis Blaydes have been added to the upcoming UFC 225 event.

Set for June 9 from the United Center in Chicago, the card has yet to receive a main event.

Overeem (43-16) had his two-fight win streak snapped in December with a first round knockout loss to Francis Ngannou. Prior to that, he had bested former UFC champion Fabricio Werdum and finished Mark Hunt.

Blaydes (9-1) will be fighting in his hometown and brings with him a five-fight unbeaten streak. He scored a decision over Hunt in February following wins vs. Oleksiy Oliynyk and Daniel Omielanczuk. His lone loss came to Ngannou back in 2016.

Other fights previously announced include Claudia Gadelha vs. Carla Esparza and Joseph Benavidez vs. Sergio Pettis.

Strawweight: Claudia Gadelha vs. Carla Esparza

Flyweight: Joseph Benavidez vs. Sergio Pettis
