Frodo Khasbulaev, a former Bellator tournament winner, has signed a multi-fight deal with the World Series of Fighting.
Khasbulaev (21-5) is slated to make his debut with the WSOF in June at WSOF 21 against an opponent yet to be determined. Originally, he was expected to face former champion Rick Glenn, but an injury knocked Glenn out.
After winning the Season 8 tourney for Bellator, Khasbulaev was riddled with visa issues and unable to compete again for the promotion. He has won nine in a row, including victories over Marlon Sandro and Mike Richman.
The current WSOF 21 card is set to feature a pair of title fights, as Smealinho Rama defends his heavyweight belt vs. Blagoi Ivanov and featherweight champion Lance Palmer takes on Chris Horodecki.
