The global expansion of World Series of Fighting (WSOF) continues, as they are now seeking a fight card in April 2014 out of New Zealand. WSOF president Ray Sefo is in the final stages of making the deal happen.
“It’s pretty much finalized,” said Sefo. “Probably right after Japan, we’re talking about having a show in New Zealand.”
WSOF debuts in Canada on December 7 and March is penciled in for Japan. The deal with Japan involves a partnership with Pancrase.
There is no exact date or venue confirmed for April. The promotion was also looking to follow with a card from Australia.
