Both champion and challenger successfully weighed in for Saturday night’s World Series of Fighting 29 main event Friday.
Justin Gaethje, the reigning lightweight titleholder, hit the scale at 155 pounds, as did challenger Brian Foster. The two headline the NBC Sports Network event from Colorado that begins at 10 p.m. ET.
Gaethje (15-0) has defended his belt three times previously, while Foster (25-8) is a veteran of the UFC and claimed a one-night tournament to earn his shot.
