WSOF 16 Results: Palhares Subs Fitch, Palmer Tops Glenn

A new featherweight champion was crowned Saturday night at World Series of Fighting 16, as Lance Palmer submitted Rick Glenn.

Glenn was making his first title defense on NBC Sports Network, but fell victim to the hometown Palmer via rear-naked choke in the third round. Palmer’s win brings another title to Team Alpha Male, joining UFC bantamweight champion T.J. Dillashaw.

In the main event, Rousimar Palhares quickly subbed fellow UFC veteran Jon Fitch, locking up a kneebar in the first round to defend his welterweight title.
